How much gas heating did the cold climate heat pump avoid this past year? Light & dark green are the % of HP heating. Yellow & brown % of gas backup heat. Light & dark blue are heat pump cooling. The HP was installed on 11/7/23. Notice how the it goes from 100% gas to 100% heat pump. 🧪🔌💡☀️💨🔋

Annual heat pump update: 2024 is gone and the heat pump has now operated for more than a year. There was a total of 1884 hours of heat pump heating and just 35.3 hours of gas heating (1.8% of total) for significant reduction in gas heating use and emissions. 🧪🔌💡☀️💨🔋
