Important lesson to really look at every freaking data point, critically evaluate data, not let belief guide scientific thought, to not always fully trust the literature, and that citations can be meaningless.

And if you think oh, it wasn’t that bad, I really think your memory betrays you. As a friendly reminder, some blanks had more arsenic content than their DNA. Bad science par excellence.
