I own less than most people I know, but still, it's incredible how much pointless detritus accumulates around you. Need to become way more organized.

Sometimes I think I need to wrap these images in some context. A larger project. A better way of staging things. A package my mind can accept as "complete". That would probably just cause the same problems on a bigger scale.

A lot gets lost or altered when you take a photo or scan it. If you try to get it close to what it looks like irl, you'll end up with something that pales in comparison. If you heavily edit it or use it as a base for something else, things get interesting, but the real object becomes vestigial.
