Discovered a cavity in my molar which must mean that I am filled to the brim with disease, a seedbed for malignant growths, an avatar of pestilence, close to death.

I love/hate my stupid bricolage life, depending on what we're working with at any particular moment.

Writing is ok, even though it takes me ages to assemble a sentence. Because I believe in a futile endeavor called precision. Because thinking about any sentence makes it come apart at the seams. Because considering possible meanings of words and word relations gives me vertigo.

If speech were something beyond my abilities, I don't think I would want to do it. I speak because it is expected of me or because I think it is expected of me. I'm at my best when I get to be silent.

"Why do you have that Dürer print on the wall? I thought you hated Dürer."

Are there any painters who deliberately used mediums and materials that degrade and rot? What if you integrate the eventual decay of a piece into the process? What if the artist just plants a seed for something else? What combinations of materials would facilitate an interesting disintegration?
