Its eyes burned with the intensity of a thousand suns. Bombarding the barrier with molten projectiles, visibly annoyed, Entropos increased its output, determined to break it down.

“Don’t you realize that your struggle is in vain?!”

The eroded mass was becoming one with the beast as the planet they once stood on became as dust, and the celestial bodies surrounding them following suit, providing more energy for the taking.

“YOU WILL BREAK BEFORE YOU SEE THE SUN!”

Space began to bend and warp as crimson lightning rained down from the clouds. Everything began to get dragged in by an almighty force. The vacuum of ruin, pulling at the very universe itself, ran in motion, creating a display of hopeless destruction.

This reaction caused the horror of the stars to fly into a rage. In that key moment, Entropos grew uncharacteristically untethered from its prior emotional state, proving susceptible to this denigration and show of the ability to back up such defiance.

This in turn evoked a great reaction within Entropos’ soul.

“You think indifference will save you?! You think apathy will stop my reign?! Blind fool!”

Entropos quivered, trembling with irritation. Its eyes beamed with a harsh and piercing glare.

The creature didn’t understand, observing him in confusion. The serpent felt that something was wrong. It couldn’t be denied.

The array of radiant eyes flashed as they unleashed an oppressive and corrosive force, breaking up the air and ground in its path. It was aimed at Ryu’s life, seeking to dissolve it into something indistinguishable from dust.

There was no salvation to be found, only a blight, endless bloodshed and loss.
