Short. Weird but nice. OCD person.
A seedling in a derelict shed in an abandoned turnip field.

Currently following the #spycops inquiry and you should too!
The contributions of Oak Hill to this article are quite remarkable. So many words to say so little.
And a *masterful* use of the passive voice here.

For the first time in over 20 years of having a garden, I have grown Brussel sprouts!
Do I like sprouts? No, not really.
Is that the point? Absolutely not!

It's been a very long week, but I misread this as ...."plus dragon tuition bursary". Which frankly sounds great.

Whatever one's view of church light parties (me, I like Halloween and also any opportunity to eat sweets and be silly in any context), I am on piano duty and therefore covered in glitter. Particularly proud of the hairclips.

Initial critic of UPF who then went on to develop fancy UPF to be sold in M&S offers criticism of fellow critic of UPF*.
Meanwhile, those of us interested in actual evidence-based advice allow ourselves a cup of tea and a biscuit.
*Tbf, Wicks *is* scare-mongering.

In my now 20something years of having a garden, I have, for the first time, grown one (1) whole full-size tomato.
Yay!

Slightly tangentially re: this nonsense, I was repeatedly called wet as a child, as I was a sensitive and often anxious little thing who cried a lot.
Can confirm that being called wet did absolutely nothing to change that.

Julius Caesar (aaaaaaaahhh) and the Roman Empire (aaaaaaaahhh) couldn't conquer the blue sky.
(Yes I'm a bit anxious and hyper).

No, because competition in healthcare is ridiculous and stupid, and the notion of choice is considerably more complicated than it's made out to be.

Found in my kitchen cupboard.
Who?
And more importantly, why?

You don't need to be a dietitian to know that children with complex medical conditions can meet their nutritional requirements too, as long as they have access to adequate nutrition and medical care.
Underlying conditions do not automatically lead to poor nutritional status. 1/2

Some nice conversations after church prompted by the new badge (left). Things got a little confusing when chatting to a woman whose husband was lending me his newly written book (pt of front cover right). "Oh I thought it said stand by your trains".
"Let's do both! Trans rights and steam trains!"

Cops and Robbers was my favourite book as a small child. I think my Mum bought it and it lived at her parents' house. When my kids were little, she got The Jolly Postman which lived at her house.
They're so lovely.
"We're just having a robbery, dear." is genius.

We went to the seaside and it was beautiful.
First swim in the sea this year, and no jellyfish!
