You know, my wife - she's a big fan of gifting her friends and family pop-culture related items, especially at Christmas. Me? Not so much but oh you should see her. She loves this one shop, 'Hey There Rocking Kids' or something it's called...'Hey Kids Rock'n'Roll' that's it! That's the one. Oh yeah, she swears by it.

Just one more thing...this Columbo Decoration can be sent as a greetings card and it comes with an envelope, real good quality stuff. You can send it to a friend and then they can hang it on a tree or whatever.

Oh and, sir? There's just one thing I'm not sure of... It says here it measures about 14cm high. Now I don't know about centimetres but I'd guess that's about five and a half inches, wouldn't you say?

Part of a Church Times article about Oak Hill college, which reads: The college statement said: "Since the new leadership team has been in place the college has not requested any confidentiality and non-disparagement clauses in settlements". (My emphasis on the next sentence) A clause "resembling a confidentiality and non-disparagement clause did find its way into an early draft, this was never the intention" it said. "Once this concern was raised, the wording was adjusted accordingly. Revising wording is a standard part of the negotiation process in complex, private employment matters."

For the first time in over 20 years of having a garden, I have grown Brussel sprouts!
Do I like sprouts? No, not really.
Is that the point? Absolutely not!

So we drove about, Dad playing these recordings on either a dictaphone or a cassette player, and we were able to find their friends' graves and take photos to give them. End of story. 3/3

who would have been nearly 100. Both had been deployed there in WW1, one Dad thinks in transport, and he can't remember the other's role. They had both lost friends and comrades, who were buried in the War Cemeteries, and the men had not been able (at least recently)...2/3

A long time ago, c1990ish, when I was in my early teens, we went on a family holiday to northern France. Nearish Thiepval, I think.
There was something of a job to do on the holiday too - before we went, my Dad had recorded conversations with 2 of our very elderly neighbours...1/3

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."
