fastball is Joe Ryan's but he sits 95 and touched 100, great splitter, yesavage's reverse slider. Like a low-slot Yesavage too, but better command... probably. Improved his walk rate year over year three times.

I'm just now starting with a curve with my 11 yo, my 13 yo has been throwing it for a few years.

totally fine imo. But I think that's not a bad age for a curve either. It's the slider I think you want to wait on.

when I looked at it, there was no real evidence that splitter guys were hurt more. but there are some biomechanics arguments against it I guess, that it stressed the flexor mass more.

yeah 227 postseason changeups. improved classification is probably a part of this but... 1000+...

The slow pour pils from Bierstadt Lagerhaus is great. Sours at Crooked Stave. Hazies at Cerebral. for a concentrated area, River North has Ratio, Lagerhaus, and a couple other cool spots.
