If you are a new follower, just know that I talk about Liz Huett a lot! She has become one of my favorite artists and I really love her voice and songwriting. Many years ago, she was a background singer for Taylor Swift, and she also has backing vocals on some of the Taylor's version recordings.

"Better Man" won Song of the Year at the CMAs, and yet Taylor left it off the tracklist for the Red album because she had so many amazing songs... and that tells you something about Red and Taylor as a songwriter

It's interesting that Taylor used the British spelling "judgement" in the lyrics for CANCELLED! (which itself is a British spelling) but used the American spelling "gray" in Ruin the Friendship. I haven't looked deeply to see if there are other words that can have different spellings on the album

Taylor said there is "a lot of character cosplay" on this album based on what she thinks will entertain fans, and I feel like the WLW songs (Wi$h Li$t, Wood) explore the character of the "straightest woman alive" from two different angles, sexual bliss and then suburban domestic bliss
