~ ~ I am so tired with the word transparency. We don't ever get it from either side. I am doubly tired of the phrase, "We work for the American people. The American people deserve transparency, etc."

This is something that's been bothering me for years - - When you get a political text asking you to answer questions, they always, and I mean ALWAYS, ask for a donation before you send it. That's where I exit the text and wonder if my politicians really want my answers or just my money.
