I’m not familiar with Rufo but generally speaking I tend to think the more perspectives and info the better. Even if it’s whack, at least you learn where the whack is coming from and can address it better. It’s his actions that matter and the article does cite applaudable votes and positions.

Depends how you define corrupt. The leadership has been abysmal. AOC tried to bring them into a new age. They’d rather pretend they know best to hold onto their power and legacies

Also when and who decided this would be a good starting point? That every school needs to be able to serve every kid? Maybe it is better but I don’t recall the board sharing any due diligence on this.

So much of it makes no sense and some of her statements in that meeting were like 😵💫🤯😳 Seems she’s looking for Jones to take the fall. He must be going out of his mind. A weak leader but also prob was trying to keep his job by carrying out the board’s (impossible) marching orders. Is that your read?

1) Many ppl and headlines use those exact words 2) It doesn’t matter bc even saying all the things you just did sends the same message. It’s about how the message makes people feel. And if they’re not doing fine, they’ll feel gaslit and like the party doesn’t plan to change anything

And don’t confuse little improvements with “it’s good”. Dems are great with piecemeal bandaids here and there. But have big systemic problems that bandaids won’t help with. The last graph depicts what Elizabeth Warren’s series “The Collapse of the Middle Class” is about.
