On Discord they’re called voice chats within servers.

I’ve had a hard time finding emotionally regulated, intelligent public discussion about news and politics. I’ve found fun music rooms on Clubhouse and occasional friendly banter. Rooms are less consistent lately though.

I hear ya. I’ve heard of a Discord directory. Not sure if it’s run by Discord themselves. I haven’t looked for it. Found my favorite servers through friends and Meetup.

I’d love to see social audio here! Lately I’ve been getting my fix on Discord. Clubhouse made discovery and starting new things so much easier though.
