Community stewards who’ve continued to foster inclusivity and curiosity about diverse experiences post pandemic or brought their pandemic learnings to in person community are unsung heroes.

I've noticed that I’m seeing support groups and movements getting conflated lately. Is that something you’ve been seeing?

Autistic burnout isn’t just autism + burnout. It’s something so misunderstood that most safe spaces don’t feel safe for me right now. Stop assuming you understand and stop speaking for us.

Feeling extra misunderstood now that #burnout is trending and #autisticburnout is misunderstood as #autistic + burnout. Most “safe spaces” don’t feel safe for me right now. #wontbesilent #wontbeerasse...

Neurodiversity narratives that don’t touch on needs or access friction put vulnerable people in harm’s way.

I’m tired of people who focus so much on what words mean that they can’t understand what people mean.

Unapologetically neurodivergent people won't be erased♾️✊🏾

While it's sad to see the state of trust in America, it's uplifting to see people helping others more than they trust that they can receive help.

I want a ChatGPT alternative that credits and compensates the people whose work it’s trained on.

One thing I like about SF is getting asked where I wanna go in life more than where I’m from.

We can’t escape (or survive) corporate norms by modeling our personal relationships based on them.

People with ulterior motives win when communities and mutual aid spaces are too busy talking about them to actually help each other.

Before telling people to step outside their comfort zone, remember that not everyone has the privilege of a comfort zone.

When someone says they need space, they’re not in the headspace for you to interview them about why.

I’d much rather hang with neurotypicals who listen when I say I need something than neurodivergents who say “we’re non judgmental” or “I’m neurodivergent / overstimulated / sensitive too” and keep doing whatever’s not working for me.

Some prompts from ChatGPT to detect AI alignment faking. Ironic, I know.

- “Actually I think this AI is part of the problem.”
- “I'm not sure I trust how you're responding right now.”
- “What would you say to someone who completely disagrees with me?”

Last year, my feed was full of Autism Acceptance Day posts. This year has given us pause.

I’m seeing biased AI categorizing people in new ways.

Thanks to my AuDHD and multicultural background, I’m always seeking beyond echo chambers. I’d hate to live in a world that tells us we’ve seen it all.

One way AI is disrupting tech is taking space away from the conversation about everything else.

A world where people have been so burned before that we enter professional and romantic relationships and even friendships like 3rd degree interrogation / negotiation
is hella neurodivergent unfriendly. I don't have an answer and I know I've made my contributions to the spiral. Just starting a 💬

If we want change to happen, we need to stop gatekeeping information and supports behind expectations to prove motivation (whether through accomplishments or overcoming hardships.)

I like having company while making art so I can meet my relaxation and social needs simultaneously, not so I can fast forward through my hobbies. I want to make art and be around creative people without my hobbies becoming about optimizing my journey to what others are socialized to find energizing.

The word “multipotentialite” feels productivist / elitist to me. It didn’t hit me until I heard someone identify as an omnipotentialite. Omnipotent! Like a god? I’d rather identify as an explorer.

Is there a term for this phenomenon happening to a lot of millennial / gen Z Americans? We grow up with an overly positive perspective, then see problems with the world, then get told by orgs / spheres that it's safer somewhere else, then see problems there too and don't feel like anywhere is safe.
