On our dog/cat walk (yes the cats come on our walks, no leashes) the other night we saw 2 coyotes. They are healthy looking coyotes also, not the scraggly forest ones.

Chipped ear mommy and her baby. Cat saying hi. We let the cats outside and there is no drama. The cats and raccoons hang out within feet of each other. Racoons only defend themselves if attacked by a dog.
