Energy Department Announces Termination of 223 Projects, Saving Over $7.5 Billion
The U.S. Department of Energy today announced the termination of 321 financial awards supporting 223 projects, resulting in a savings of approximately $7.56 billion dollars for American taxpayers.

This gov't shutdown could be longest ever. Rs don't want to release Epstein files; Ds just saw the SCOTUS ruling on impounding and now can't trust passed budgets to be honored. Compromise will be extremely difficult.

This gov't shutdown could be longest ever. Rs don't want to release Epstein files; Ds just saw the SCOTUS ruling on impounding and now can't trust passed budgets to be honored. Compromise will be extremely difficult.

There was saber rattling back in 2017 (remember MOPR and FRR?). This time might be more real though, since costs are likely to stay high and the list of grievances is a bit longer. Time will tell. #EnergySky

ISO-NE needs to find an add'l 13,000 GWh in the next 9 years. (p. 11 www.iso-ne.com/static-asset...).
This 80%-complete wind project was scheduled to turn on in '26 & is estimated to provide over 2,500 GWh. Replacing this lost power will not be easy (or cheap). www.utilitydive.com/news/connect...
