That's not my name
@endoubleu.bsky.social
You probably know me for my bird illustrations and sewing stuff, and maybe dinner, but on this profile I'm just me, for the social side.
There's a business me too, if you know where to look.

But it's the bread song??? Wouldn't they know it from that?
I'm kind of disappointed now that he didn't need anyone to help him sing a song when I saw him play in Paris.

According to that swear analyser a few months ago, the context for my swears are the “knobs” on my sewing machine and “balls” of wool. And adding kisses at the end of posts, because apparently that’s rude! 🙃

Just the good ones.

You’re just trying to prove me wrong now.
TBH If stuff like that gets hidden from me, it also means I’m not seeing the content that your reply would have put into my feed, and I’m generally ok with that. I know bad stuff is happening in the world, I don’t want to see the original posts 27 times.

I will see the swears, with the setting on.
From the occasion reading of comments on “international” news sites, I suspect we’re far less rude than we give ourselves credit for.
We might swear in frustration, but we mostly play the ball. We’re not going all in on personal insults or wishing harm.

They do move favourite spots from time to time, but yeah, you're unlikely to actually see them move much.

Is that the one just before the loos?
If I’d known you were headed there, I would have offered to come in and show off all my recently gained knowledge! (That’s what all the recent homework assignments have been, me learning the ropes to be a volunteer know-it-all.)

My psych kind of talked about it, but the first time i was able to stop myself going into an inertia spiral when someone else changed a plan (and then went on leave, leaving me to discover it with no support) was a revelation.
My brain could use techniques my onco-psychologist had tried to teach me!

Yeah, it’s the part of the CBD that’s just a little grittier. If Satay Kingdom is still there, it was my favourite for a very long time, along with California Sushi, which I think is gone now, and the Mexican place which is into its second generation (the original owners now in Petone).

I thought that laneway looked very familiar. I haven’t eaten there for a while (because I’m almost never in town these days) but it’s always been a solid option for finding good eats.

That’s the bit about treatment that people who aren’t being treated for ADHD don’t get. That the drugs aren’t just to get you through the day with enough focus to get some stuff done. That they actually slow your brain down so you can process how you’re reacting to stuff. Which cuts both ways.

Fewer people would be off work due to long term health conditions, meaning a higher tax take.
I know that the private system does the easy stuff, leaving the public system with the more costly healthcare, but if public did more of the easy stuff in a timely manner, there’d be less of the hard.

My version of this is what if the Govt just decided that it would cost far less to budget an extra $2k per person per year for heath care (or whatever the average premium is) so that we could get on top of screening and early treatments which are cheaper and are easier to recover from.

Yes, mine was laproscopic too - but I had my cervix removed too, and I think that comes with more risk of complication.
Just don't overdo it, aye, cos it's really easy to push yourself and then you have to go get checked out again.

Is your work work very sedentary? I wasn’t even able to leave my own property under my own steam for a month… (couldn’t drive, live on a very steep hill and wasn’t allowed to walk on hills).
Maybe I had different surgery to you though? I had 4 weeks off work, not realising it should have been six.
