At St Catherine’s College, Oxford, we dined in front of wool tapestries designed by the late Tom Phillips, an alumnus of the college. The ones to each side are representations of a shattered cartwheel. (Photo from TomPhillips.co.uk)
St Catherine’s College, Oxford: main hall. 3 rows of tables run front to back with the high table transversely behind them. You see the high backed wooden chairs designed by Arne Jacobsen (like everything else in the college). Behind high table, on the wall are 3 large tapestries in wool. The central one is based on Oxford University motto ‘Dominus illuminatio mea’ with the words overlapping each other. The colour scheme is that of the college: purple, yellow, blue and red. The 2 at either side show a design representing cartwheels broken into many pieces. They are rendered in shades of yellowy orange against a green-blue background.

#FontsOnFriday 12th Century Norman font in St Mary’s Curch, Eastham, Wirral.
Rather heavy-looking circular stone baptismal font set on a square stone plinth, surrounded by reddish patterned tiles with a trefoil motive. A candle on a stand lies in front, with flowers round the candle base, and behind the font is a carved wooden screen - originally the rood screen, but now moved to the west door.

I got the Treasure annual every year, so have had plenty of practice.
