Sorry it's been a while since I posted. I just haven't run into enough inspiration recently. There's just been so much work for me to do at college this semester. But it is my last semester, so hopefully I can continue soon.

Daily #WorldBuilding Cont. This pungent liquid is highly attractive to fish, as such, they often are lured towards these tendrils. When bitten, these tendrils reflexively eject a spike, naturally hooking the fish. The fish however will be repelled by any sudden movements so they must remain still.

Day 8 of my trip to Mexico.

I flew home today. I am now in bed after a long busy day. I had fun on my trip. I flew from Merida to Atlanta and from Atlanta to home. And now I have many shells and a soft bed to sleep in. I'm most proud of my horseshoe crab shell. It nearly broke on the way.

It rained today too, but I got to walk on the beach this morning. I saw several crabs. We also ordered delivery for dinner today. I got garlic butter octopus delivered. A stray cat was very interested, but I refused to give any because I heard garlic is bad for cats.

Day 3 of my trip to Mexico.

Today I explored the beach some more. I found a small hermit crab living in another animal's discarded body part. There was also a lizard of some kind running on the walls. I think it was a gecko. He was hard to get a picture of, but I cornered him eventually.

Day 2 of my trip to Mexico.

Today I waded in the ocean. There were many crush shells in the water. Sometimes they were sharp, but they never cut me. I found a live conch. We also visited a bakery to buy something for lunch today and breakfast tomorrow. Most shops in Mexico are closed from 12 to 1.
