Slagships are a type of ship which is very common among multiple different alien civilizations. This is because they are very cheap and you can even make a profit on their creation. You make them by hollowing out a meteor, and adding boosters and a hyperdrive. Cheap and dirty.

Sorry about the long time since my last worldbuilding post. I've been a lot busier recently and I haven't had a lot of inspiration for continuing to build my world. I think I should take a break from building it and start to write in it instead. I have a world, so now it's time to use it.

Daily #WorldBuilding Time! The Kcaraskata have two sets of arms. One looks similar to those of a mantis from earth, but the other smaller set has small delicate pincers at the end. The larger arms are specialized for grabbing prey or other objects, while the smaller arms are much more dexterous.

Daily #WorldBuilding Time! The Kcaraskata have two pairs of legs ending in spikes which they use to balance themselves when walking. They are not sharp, instead being somewhat blunt. They could only pierce the most fragile of creatures. Their mouths are different however.

Daily #WorldBuilding Time! In ancient times, surface Kcaraskata had myths regarding the dead, believing any who died traversing the depths and weren't returned to the surface would haunt their companions for the rest of their journey, glowing a ghostly blue.

Daily #WorldBuilding Time! Although the Kcaraskata usually live in the shallows of their oceans, some also live in the deeper oceans where it is much darker. These have adapted to have much lighter shells and some groups of them have even gained the ability to bioluminesce.

Extending from their torsos are spines from which dangle flexible but strong tendrils. They have little to no control over them, but at the end is a bulb which leaks a pungent fluid.

I ate a conch shell snail and stared at the night sky on a beach. I also talked with an old friend of my mother's.
Maybe when I'm home ill add some aquatic creatures to my worrldbuilding project. I don't have a lot of them.

Daily #WorldBuilding Time! Crime rates are somewhat higher amongst modded individuals than among normal humans. Some have attempted to use this as a reason to ban gene modding, however, evidence suggest most criminals start before being modded rather than after and likely steal the mods they use.

Daily #Worldbuilding Time! Vasashii and Reptorii resorts both contain numerous restaurant commonly staffed by species from all over the galaxy. It is a melting pot for all species' cultures as food and people mix. Many of there restaurants even offer the occasional free stay to performers.

Daily #WorldBuilding Time! The Vasashii and Reptorii have both turned significant portions of their worlds into resorts. These resorts naturally include hotels where all the guests can stay. As well, the rooves of most of these hotels are completely open to guests. Most have sunbathing locations.

Daily #WorldBuilding Time! The Vernyans follow a highly capitalist society. Their economy used to be backed by water which was at the time considered a very valuable resource considering how dry their planet was with most of the water trapped deep underground. Later, it changed to gold.

Daily #WorldBuilding Time! The Idai are highly present in the Galactic Community. They have hold a majority in Galactic police forces, are commonly used as judges and are present at most diplomatic meetings. This is in part dues to their hyper-rational decision making.

Daily #WorldBuilding Time! Vernyans are very adept at burrowing through loose sand, capable of fully submerging themselves in seconds. They used this to escape larger creatures and find bug nests. At times, it was even used as a way to avoid the sun to conserve water as they traveled at night.
