US administration taunted an ally to fire a head of a public broadcaster and Semafor are like… “wow, you guys are bad at covering Trump…” - that’s not the story here.

I like this photo by Cian O’Connell in the Irish Time. Wryly referencing Joe Rosenthal’s WW2 pic

The John collison essay is doing well on the IT. Adjacent to that Semafor connected his brother to Marc Anderson’s influential WhatsApp group. Idk if there’s much in that, but yea.

New Ben Lerner in NYRoB. I accept I’m smack in his target market but the guy is top of the pile. What a writer.

Hope he’s recovered well.

Billy woods was magnificent in dublin. Really peerless. There’s nothing effortless about what he does but that’s the product

I thought this was really interesting, I’m a huge fan of eno, but that centres around 72-82. I guess I admire his vibe more-so his output in recent years.

I thought this was interesting on the state of boxing, regulations, contracts… just a window into another world.

I also thought him crossing himself at the end was interesting, interesting times re-religion. Increasing in France and US… the whole thing was pitched to a more international / X audience over county councillors. Perhaps intentionally

This set up is done all the time by news orgs. You cross the street to get the shot, so you’re not shooting up the persons nose and losing definition on their chin.

I thought Conor mc Gregor’s campaign video was interesting in the shot was obviously off,
