Found this today in the local @amnestyuk.bsky.social bookshop, and I had to get it. How many decades so you think it'll take me to get anywhere close to figuring it out? 🥲

Hey @theguardian.com, if you want to report on #Romania and #Moldova, you may also like to get the presidents right. Getting them mixed up on national media is a sign of, oh, I don't know, huge disrespect? www.theguardian.com/world/2025/f...

Fun fact about me: I adore invertebrates, and am currently proud mother to various Giant African Land Snails and Giant African Millipedes. 🐛🐌 Madagascar hissing cockroaches also used to be part of my family, but the last one, Stoker (pictured), passed away last year. I really miss hissers though!

I will be forever grateful to Darren for putting so much care and love into bringing this little project of mine to life - every single copy is printed and bound by hand, and is unique.

Happy 1-year #bookversary to Spatter Pattern, my poetry chapbook against gender violence! 1 year ago today, Spatter Pattern was released by the wonderful back room poetry, who have since sadly been forced to cease their activity.

One of my top achievements this year was having my poem "One last journey" published in the excellent Other Side of Hope lit mag. I wrote it in memory of my paternal grandma, Silvia, who fled her hometown of Chernivtsi (now in Ukraine) as a young woman due to the invasion of the Soviet Army in 1940.
