I also also a little inspired by JRPGs in general, but I wanted to make a JRPG without grinding, where every battle feels meaningful.

Maybe I didn't fuly accomplish this with FoxHaunt, because you need play multiple loops of the gain info, almost like grinding for knowledge.

I tried to think of a nice way of giving her bunny-ears without them clashing with her fox ears. I had some sudden inspiration when I remembered some characters I liked who had bunny-ear hair ribbons.

I also made her tail a little more round to be more bunny-like.

Unfortuantely for speedrunners if you try to fight her in the beginning you will barely scratch her, and she one hits you.

It's currenlty expected that you fight all the other enemies before fighting her, but it will be interesting to see how many battles players can "skip."

Random trivia:
Originally I intended to give her sandals. I tried a few variations, but they didn't look quite right. In the end I thought barefeet suited the style well, and I just went with it.

Random trivia:
Despite being the main character, I actually decided on the keyword and theme of the Forgotten Fox last, after all of the other characters were well defined.
