I'm basically a mix of being a goth, geek, and cultural creative. I like video games, movies, art, music, travel and other things.

When I first started cooking on my own, I have broken spaghetti in half, but now in recent years I interchange between doing it or not. Depends on what I feel like.

Overall, on their own, Zero and Azure are very good, long JRPGs to enjoy, especially for those who like having lots of character depth and overarching storylines from other games playing a role in the overall narrative. But relative to the other Trails games, they are medium-low tier for me.

Given that these two games were originally released on the PSP roughly 15 years ago, they are pretty dated when it comes to features and graphics compared to the games released after them, naturally. That said, they still look pretty charming. The music is also enriching and pleasant to listen to.

I did enjoy how deep the story is and how much depth many of the characters have. As a JRPG, it is riddled with many archetype characters and the story can be a bit of a drag at times. But the combat is fun and exploring around the world is interesting as well.

I eventually want to see how the Switch 2 will perform on its backwards compatibility with the Switch library. I hope my save data, digital downloads and game recordings can be transferable to the Switch 2. If they aren’t, that might be another turn off for me wanting to purchasing one.

In regards to Mario Kart World, it makes sense for Nintendo to want to capitalize on a guaranteed hot title and sell it for around $80, especially at launch. But I am skeptical that the game, as interesting as it is, will not be large or amazing enough to make it worth that price.

Well deserved win.

While I’m willing to wait and see Nintendo announce their successor to the Switch in the near future, I have little interest in it for now. Besides, I have plenty of old Nintendo games from their retro systems I’d rather revisit after so long, then to spend money on their newer products.

Anyway, I’m at a point in my life where I feel Nintendo’s general offerings do not appeal to me anymore with how derivative and superficial they sometimes feel. I’d much rather focus my video gaming activities elsewhere, which is on Steam these days.

Their outdated/minimalist game design philosophy and limited advancement in hardware technology are other factors that have turned me off from wanting to support Nintendo any further. And don’t get me started on how they operate as a business and how they negatively treat their fans sometimes...

It's likely worth it. The next time furniture tends to go on sale is either after New Years or in the spring time.
