I don’t think anyone is laughing at America. It’s more likely that people outside the US are swearing at you, booing you, or feeling sorry for you.

JD Roberts hasn’t been cool since he was a VJ for Much Music in Toronto — and that was so long ago that I can’t vouch for the fact he was ever cool back then, either. But it was a fun era.
