I remember shifting the weight of the chairs from hand to hand, the feeling of the sand in my sandles, the long wooden stairs down to the sand, and then finally seeing the water. I remember all of it.

AI takes away the feeling of *going* somewhere, and just leave you with the being. Its fuckn lame.

The interstitial scenes are the ones that make life worth it. When I reminisce about my childhood, I never say "I remember being at the beach", I say "I remember *going* to the beach." I remember the packing, the car ride, taking our exit on the highway. Carrying everything down the hot parking lot.

A true Banger™️ from start to finish. Probably ranks as my second favorite Indiana Jones movie
