Floofed out, they look almost like a gallinaceous bird, a big turkey. Still beautiful. Always beautiful.

training for the NYC marathon who was thrown down and knelt on by multiple ICE agents...who broke six of his ribs in the process because they're such heavy (and vicious) thugs. That's a potentially DEADLY assault. And for what? Did not comply fast enough. POPPYCOCK. Get your damn knees off ppl.

also dealing with legal stuff, and medical stuff I won't discuss. I'm having to ignore/curtail watching some things because I MUST be able to work, to answer business calls, to make other business calls, focus on just these few duties. I comment here on the parts I can take note of, like the guy

the bad boyz make it so much worse than it has to be. And I'm not in the same danger as those living in a target city. The book's not suffering, but the energy & time drain are (deliberately being undramatic) annoying. Citizen duty to stay on top of all the events is...impossible. We're

intensive. Trying to come back from a series of head injuries and write longform fiction is VERY time-intensive. And instead of a peaceful, calm surrounding in a politically stable, safe environment...we've got what we've got and it's worse than "distraction". I'm doing it. Every day, but

As a citizen, I also believe those attacks are illegal. Even IF one or more of those vessels were loaded with illegal drugs destined for illegal import into the US...two illegals don't make the attacks on them legal. BTW, all my elected individuals (for whom I did NOT vote) are Republican MAGA.

Billionaires do not need government handouts (tax breaks of any kind, relaxation of rules when they're simultaneously underpaying their employees or firing them as "liabilities.") We need--every nation needs--good governance that adheres to considering the welfare of all, not the convenience of few

Also, in the face of mass layoffs by both government and billionaire-owned businesses, there are fewer job opportunities and a lot of *unpaid* work is never counted as work, including care of children and disabled persons if it's a family member doing it.

Now the intent is not so much to feed people as to humiliate them and limit their foods, insist they work (whether they can or not) more hours/month. I will note that when Jesus said "Feed the hungry" he did not say "only if they work" and St. Paul was not Jesus in writing to Thessalonians.

Individual citizens *and* businesses thrive under good governance, but citizens, not businesses, are the reason *for* good governance. The existence of extensive hunger, homelessness, hopelessness in a population proves governance is NOT good. Denial of reality by government proves bad governance.

And what leverage do the Dems have? Forcing fed employees to work without pay isn't leverage. This is not on the Dems. It's all on the GOP. The GOP fully intends to destroy the ACA, one way or the other. Passing a short-term spending bill will fully expose the GOP's radical, extreme cruelty.
