To explain why cat it's like having someone explain why they feel human, which apart of "I'm human" it's that they were kinda made to feel like humans, being ostracized and being treated as lesser or unequal just made me connect more with animals than humans until I didn't get "being human"

Yeah I kinda feel the same, I don't get a lot of what I see in bigger therian spaces, especially the much more mystic side of some stuff, but I kinda feel cat, it's not that my soul is cat it's that like, I am cat, i see myself as that

as a non-asexual non-lesbian it is still kinda true

YEAH!!!! i think tracing can also give u an idea of how to draw (be it poses or just general anatomy) but even if it didnt it would be FINE bc it's not a crime to directly iterate on something than just be vaguely inspired by it
