Even if you are not on Apple Health, which is what Medicaid is called in WA state, there are knock-on effects from Medicaid cuts that affect the availability of healthcare providers and services:

My daughter’s speech therapist went out of business because Medicaid reimbursement rates were too low. We do not have Medicaid. I’m going to keep posting this until people understand that when Medicaid gets cut *everyone* loses services.

I don’t think folks understand the true implications of these cuts to Medicaid. A scheduler for GI specialists in Portland OR estimates 50%of their patients have Medicaid. When patients have no insurance, the doctors lose half their practice. Look for layoffs & offices to close
