Neither the presidential nor House popular votes were landslides or mandates and reporters should stop reporting that they were. Also, Kamala Harris outran House Democrats in votes, percentage, and margin, and reporters should stop reporting the opposite.

Don't let the current generation of data-challenged political reporters gaslight you. Trump is an unusually unpopular president at this point of his presidency. Biden's net approval rating 4 years ago tomorrow was +23. Trump's net favorable rating is -1.6.
