This cannot be said enough. Not only are 8/10 charity leaders concerned about how they will absorb the additional costs, they’re spending extra resource re-budgeting against the clock. Ultimately, this impacts those people and communities the charities exist to serve.
Charities have struggled most with a “lack of warning” from the government about the impending increase in employer national insurance contributions (NICs), MPs were told this week.
