Thanks! I feel like it's so obvious that I shouldn't have to pay this. There was no way I could get back to the car to put a voucher in the window and I was in the place I was supposed to be not on a double yellow or blocking anyone 🤷♀️

Filled in the form, explained and provided the evidence. Just received email that nope they don't accept this and I will have to pay anyway. I mean it's £25, I could just give in but equally this may be the one thing that tips me over the edge into a stubborn row with @sheffieldcouncil.bsky.social

But I hadn't got the voucher because at no point were we just sat in the waiting room to sort it and at no point could I leave him to walk out of the building and back to the car to put it in (or make him walk). I was on my own. They don't know that so I got a certificate from reception to prove it.

I don't go get any food or drink, I just sit next to his bed keeping an eye on him. When we get the all clear a few hours later (they're good at letting us out with a careful plan), spot a parking ticket on the car. It's fair enough I didn't get the parking voucher from reception.

We were triaged straight away and rushed through because his sats weren't great. Second time in a month he needed a dose of dexamethasone. They give him 30 doses of salbutamol in an hour. It makes his heart rate go high, he's shaking and being closely monitored. I am on my own and can't leave him.
