My husband makes wine, I drink and write about it. Based in the Veneto, in northern Italy. Grow most of my own vegetables. Hope it's sunnier over here.
So that's why! 🤣🤣

I think you're right about the front label. We often get feedback that our current labels are too similar - all have the same picture but with a different word (the name of the wine) written underneath.

File under: people don't read anymore. 🙄

A warning label may be excessive but definitely agree that information on how the wine was grown and made should be on the back.

I often forget about BS; it's too quiet. I hate the FB algorithm but I have to go there and on IG for work. I miss the Wine Twitter community.

Bear in mind it's Tony, not his father Philippe (even though they did work together for years) but it could just be that Cotes du Jura is not your cup of tea. 🤷‍♀️

Oooh! Congratulations on winning. Always a nice feeling when fate is favourable for once. If you're able, and I'm in luck, I've been wondering how/where to get hold of Richard Hough's book about Verona at War.

How many hours/days work would it involve? Admittedly I've asked people to participate in events I organise for free (expenses covered though) but I don't get any money from the other end, so it doesn't sit well with me that they're pocketing the £250 per entry.

Without going into details - I'm not a doctor, but you can Google "obstetric cholestasis" - pruritus is a symptom of something more serious.

My son was born (induced) a week after the first scratch.

So, if this happens to you or someone you know, go get it checked out. 👊🏻

And the reason for sharing this information with you all here is to make it more widely known that itchy ankles are not something to be taken lightly during pregnancy.

Within a week, my hands, arms and shoulders were torturously itchy.
I still have the scars from where I scratched and scratched.

Without scaring me, she said, "well I'd tell your OBGYN about it, if I were you."

OBGYN told me to go into hospital ASAP to get some blood tests run.

(It was lunchtime so I actually went home first because I've learnt never to go into hospital on an empty stomach.)

But I did get those tests done.
