Ioan Lloyd to Cardiff makes sense in that he's local, still young and suits our style. But adding a player who arguably doesn't get in our starting 15 only makes sense if we're adding quality where it's needed.
Ideally a solid NWQ tighthead, a 13 who isn't 40 and some added grunt in the pack.

On the Cardiff fly-half discussion, while Sheedy didn't have a great game yesterday, I think our game management has improved significantly this season with him at 10. Our attack was hindered by having a makeshift 13 and winger, especially limiting our aerial game which we had the upper hand in.

I'm a big fan of World's Strongest Man and have been trying to get into shape for an outside run at next year's competition. I think I'm making good progress, especially at the kettle bell toss, but unfortunately I am now banned from most gyms in the Cardiff area

So to watch Wales and Cardiff rugby fixtures this year you'd need subscriptions to TNT, Sky and Premier Sports (c. £879 a year), yet still wouldn't have been able to watch Cardiff's game on the weekend. Hard to imagine casual rugby fans watching much, if any, Welsh club rugby.

So I turned down a free ticket for Wales v South Africa yesterday and instead went all the way to Llandovery only for the match to be called off 20 minutes before we arrived. Still the Wales performance was so bad that I don't regret that decision
