Nope! He was just straight up on the show as a regular contestant. Season 47, which aired last year. He was in the teaser they showed at the end of Season 46 and Survivor Twitter was like, "Jon Lovett???" and he was allowed to talk about on talk shows and stuff before it aired (which is not normal!)

I did in fact mean Jon Lovett. My mom (boomer lib) was devastated he was voted out first.
