If you are as much of a loner as I am, finding community is hard.

I still crave it though, especially when it comes to reading and writing. So, I will dare to share more (nobody likes to do lists).

Since I left X over a year ago, I promised myself to rebuild the feeling of community I had found there on BSKY and on IG/Threads.

In recent months, I found 180 other readers and writers here and almost 100 on IG. And I'm so glad I did.

I know it's not much but it means a lot to me. 1/2

Just let my critique partners read something new. For some reason, I have a certain end boss and it always wriggles its way somewhere into my writing.

I have returned to the WIP that means the world to me. I set it aside while I worked on my writing. Now it is undergoing revisions.

One thing never changed: I love my angry FMCs. They deserve the world.

When I commissioned @ekduein.bsky.social, I was not prepared for her just 'getting' Mahisa.

Y'all. I know 100 is not a lot but this little introvert ass has promised herself to rebuild the community she had found at the Bad Place™ and actually pushed herself to be more outgoing these last two weeks so this is a BIG thing for me.

In actual writing news: I have worked on my WIP today. Yay.

I'm Em! I'm writing fantasy, always with some level of dark elements. I am currently working on an urban fantasy about a rebellion in hell. I'm also about to re-enter the querying trenches with the project below.
