a year ago, i visited guantanamo. a toxic, imperial site of unspeakable (and unforgettable) horror. another chapter of American violence cannot be written here
Leavitt says they’ve begun flying deportees to Guantanamo Bay.

This is functionally disappearing human beings.

There is no consular access to Guantanamo, making it nearly impossible for those held there to be represented by their governments.

There is virtually no media access, either.
