It was 4 seconds (first 3 then 1) of a trailer that was over 2 minutes long. Granted it´s more than we´ve ever seen in any other Trek trailer but it´s hardly heavy. Also a trailer doesn´t always represent what´s actually on screen so it might not be so much.

They may have been fibbing when they said they were done with the Gorn/Metrons. Meaning we might see what makes them erase everything. & they have to do something about La´an anyway since no one had heard the name Noonien-Singh in Space Seed. They really have painted themselves into several corners.

I agree with almost everything you just said, and yes, words can do great harm. There are studies that show this. What got my attention is you seemingly disagreeing with him saying that no exchange of thought excuses assasination. Which is why I linked to Amandas post.
