Congresswoman for WA-06 🌲
Healthcare champ | 1st gen college grad | Union family | Queer Chicana 🌈💃🏽
My neighbors never cease to inspire me. Today I felt the energy + power of people — regular, everyday people — united against oligarchy, fascism, hatred. Hundreds in Aberdeen + Shelton + Hoodsport, WA joined 7 million across the country. The largest single day of protest in history. No Kings Here 🙅🏽‍♀️👑

IT’S PRIDE Y’ALL! 💖🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️💃🏽👯🧚🏽‍♂️👨‍🎤

My first Pride was 20 years ago — my first summer home from college. I was newly out, newly in love, and looking for community. Volunteering at Seattle Pride was such a beautiful way to jump right in!

Feeling angry? Anxious? Like you need to help defend our democracy?

Time to knock doors for Deb K for Senate🚪🤛🏽

Talking to neighbors about engaging in the democratic process is good for the soul, action we can all take to make sure we have smart, capable, values-rooted leaders at every level.

The White House has launched a tip line to turn neighbors against each other and stoke fear and division.

What a shame it would if the line was flooded with calls from folks who disagree with the Trump/Musk/extremist agenda…

So proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with neighbors in Bremerton (hundreds on the Manette Bridge!), around the 6th m (Port Orchard, Poulsbo, Port Angeles, Sequim, Bainbridge Island, Gig Harbor, Port Townsend…), across the country to tell Trump, Musk, & Congressional Republicans: Hands Off! 1/

ICYMI The Rachel Maddow Show covered my first *three* town halls in Tacoma and Bremerton. I’ve since held two more in Port Angeles and Aberdeen — be on the lookout for Mason and Jefferson County events soon! (and sign up for the official newsletter at randall.house.gov to get the news first) 1/3

I wasn’t in Congress when the TikTok ban passed—like so many of you I was disappointed. This is a loss for small businesses, creatives, organizers, and so so many unique voices. (1/3)

On the day before I’m sworn into the 119th Congress — let’s do a little #throwbackthursday 🗓️

December 8th was my last day as a member of the Washington State Senate. Here’s the resignation letter I submitted to Governor & my colleagues:

toasting a #newyear and a new adventure 🥂

Looking back, I see the faces of those who’ve helped shape me & accompanied me on my journey. I’m beyond grateful to neighbors, friends, supporters like you — for the likes, shares, doors knocked, phones called, house parties, sweet notes, & votes!

Dems were the grownups in the House — working toward a bipartisan solution to keep the government open.

Trump, Musk and the right wing threw that agreement out the window and are barreling toward a government shutdown.

Furloughs. Delayed payments. Stopped services. Real impacts on real people.

Now for a little cheer: stopped by the Dept. of Interior holiday party to toast Secretary @debhaaland.bsky.social 🥂

How lucky we’ve been to benefit from her voice, leadership, heart. She’s broken barriers, opened doors, unearthed stories long buried & delivered results for people, land & water.

More big news!! Katy Crabtree is joining our team as District Director!

ICYMI: I’ve hired an incredible Chief of Staff, Zahraa Saheb!

Zahraa’s a seasoned policy professional with extensive experience navigating the House of Representatives, and brings her comprehensive expertise in strategic leadership, legislative operations, community engagement to our office. (1/3)

On Thurs Zahraa & I visited:
5 counties
Makah Tribal Council
11 Neah Bay neighbors
4 small businesses

14 hours later we made it home.

The 6th Congressional district is vast and beautiful. The drives are long, the people are hardworking, and there’s nowhere else I’d rather live and represent.
