the BIOS will generally look like an old MS DOS prompt, very spartan. It'll be different for every manufacturer, but what you're looking for is the Boot Order for your computer. The drive that has the correct operating system on it needs to be given priority, they'll be listed by make/model

It's a bit hard to explain because it'll be a little bit different for every PC. When you boot it it should give you a screen from the motherboard manufacturer for a few seconds that displays options, what you're looking for is the BIOS.
