It’s hard to convey just how much Chicagoans are mobilizing against ICE. Don’t want to downplay the harm, or make it seem like a fair fight. But in neighborhoods across this city, ICE is getting chased by people blowing whistles and shouting. People are running TOWARD ICE to protect their neighbors.

Line that stuck out: "Conservative leaders feel they now have the political will to remove key pieces of the Marine Mammal Protection Act..." it's a good example of how something being popular among the public guarantees nothing. Protecting marine mammals is always broadly supported in public polls.

I’m grateful to these prosecutors choosing their integrity over their jobs, and helping to keep this in a news cycle that is already waning on reporting on this.
