Barely got out of our onesies other than for an incredible dinner at Acleaf. Delicious food and attentive experience.

This weekend I did my first stint as Run Director at Longrun Meadow Junior parkrun.

I love volunteering most weeks with the team there and feel very lucky to have been invited to step up to join the gang of Run Directors.

Fab weekend at home starting with my 150th parkrun (and fastest of 2025), then a sauna and ice plunge session, before Taunton 10K race today - at which I astounded myself by finishing in under an hour (I thought such a goal was beyond me!) #RunningIsFunning

I’m very excited to be joining the Board of Honeyscribe who are boosting wellbeing, fighting isolation and loneliness, and of course producing stunning visual artworks.

This work is essential and I hope to do all I can to support Amy and Honeyscribe into the future.

Surprised myself today. I was 100% motivated to do a half marathon because of the medal. I’m never motivated by a medal.

This was meant to be my last long run before my ultra but I’ve had to withdraw from that.

But the medal is one of a trilogy of races this year…I couldn’t bear to have a gap!

First time volunteering on “Finish Tokens” today at Junior #Parkrun.

A busy one but all fun…and got me my “Volunteer of all trades” challenge for completing ten different volunteer roles.

Fantastic volunteer team (great first timers briefing) and a steady four lap course (little hill four times just to keep it interesting). Ran with my mothership who was first in her age group.
