Not sure if you can say that farmers would rather be doing anything else w/ the land. Farmers want to farm, want to keep it in the next gen, don't want to see land developed. But, farming IS so tough and gets tougher every year. Solar is a way for many farmers to keep doing what they are doing.

Truth! Even USDA Farm Service Agency State Committee members who are typically farmers in the community are special employees and have to file their financial disclosures.
