Crocheted a couple of roses for my boss and the woman I'm usually partnered with. Really gonna miss them.

I need some help from some crochet peoples. I bought some self striping rainbow yarn for a baby blanket, but can't seem to come up with a good pattern. I've experimented with the mesh stitch, wattle stitch, and mini bean stitch, but nothing feels right. I would really appreciate any fresh ideas 🧶

My latest finished project, and contest entry. Yarn: La Mia Tale, color LM036. Stitch: Snapdragon Lace. I really like how it turned out. Colors look like a garden, which I hoped it would. 🧶

I'm normally superstitious about showing my competition pieces before before the competition, but I'm excited about these. Hope this doesn't jinx me, but here's a sneak peek..... 🧶

Decided I need to practice with my colored pencils on coloring book pictures before I put them to my drawings. I have 6 preliminary sketches done of different subjects. I REEEAAALLY don't wanna screw them up with my inexperience. I'm open to any advice......

Mom and I made a deal. She got me a box of 150 colored pencils. My part is I start drawing again. Here is my first piece so far. And yes, I'm on a belly dance binge right now. Also, drawing faces is really difficult for me, so wish me luck. Next drawing will be of giraffes. I love giraffes.

Schematic for the dance outfit I'm gonna eventually make. Just imagine it covered with a bazillion red and black sequins. Also imagine my deep red dancing veil. Gonna have to lose ~80 lbs first, but that's about how long it'll take me to get the $$$ anyway. And now, I sleep. Goodnight everyone!

Decided to turn one of my fave Golden Age of Hollywood dresses (Neptune's Daughter, 1949) into a belly dance skirt. 3-panel circle skirt, red crepe backed satin ombre dyed black, and hand sewing on a zillion sequins. Gonna cost ~$150-$200 to make, and I have other expenses first, but excited!

One crochet Christmas tree ornament finished! 11 to go. The back is stiffened felt. I rubbed ground cinnamon on the inside of the felt, then glued a cinnamon stick trunk to the felt (cinnamon sticks... Not cheap). Then sewed the crochet tree on top of the felt. The yarns i used are listed below. 🧶
