We will be marking this day with some beautiful events in the city including the Annual Vigil at the MK Rose and the opening of the craftivism exhibition in Midsummer Arcade!

These events will be the beginning of the 16 days of activism.

Our hospitality sector in Milton Keynes should be striving to be as accessible as possible to accommodate for all residents.

In Milton Keynes, we have our very own Fawcett Society who have been doing plenty of fabulous projects in the city from co-organising the annual White Ribbon vigil to forming the “Voices of Women, Milton Keynes” Network.

We discussed the importance of apprenticeships and ensuring that young people are aware that this is a route open to them.

I want young people in Milton Keynes to pursue the best possible opportunities for them whether that be through apprenticeships, university or work.
