MPs interact with vulnerable constituents every day, including survivors of domestic abuse, children and people in crisis. While NHS staff, carers, and social workers all have DBS checks, MPs are not subject to the same safeguarding threshold.

Milton Keynes marked White Ribbon Day last night with the yearly vigil at the MK Rose. An emotive event of reflection, to think about the women and girls who have been lost to gendered violence, and how we can make our city safe to ensure that women and girls feel safe, heard and supported.

So glad that our Parliament will become the first national parliament in the world to become White Ribbon accredited.

Last night Milton Keynes truly marked White Ribbon Day in style with the incredible Craftivism Exhibition in Middleton Hall that showcased the work of local activists, artists and organisations.
