Call me genuinely surprised. Based on the rhetoric of some of the judges in earlier rulings, I thought this was for sure on the chopping block.

Ever spend 3 hours debugging why your Wireguard connection keeps dropping and causing your OSPF sessions to time out, only to realize you were advertising the IP Wireguard used to connect to the VPN in your OSPF area causing Wireguard to attempt to send it's own outer packets down the tunnel?

The good news: I finally filled in my Asimov shelf. The bad news - I am officially out of bookshelf space and I don't really want to buy another bookshelf if I am going to be moving in the not too distant future 😔

I like to think my younger self had good taste in games. Portal 1 was my first game from Steam, but it was free as they were celebrating Steam on Mac OS.

The reason they are all* Valve titles is because I started my computer gaming journey on a Mac, and still do my game development on a Mac.

I wanted my name by itself, this was surprisingly open when I looked. The fact .sh the common extension for a shell script was an added bonus.

It is a gTLD for a country I don’t live in which is unfortunate but under current contract for .sh, as long as I maintain registration I can keep it.

I'm not the doctor, but a doctor, the indefinite article you might say. 😁

I do have a PhD (psychology), I used to go with the nickname I was given at my first job, Doctor Wadd, but I don't think they were aware of it's semi pornographic overtones 🤣

Unironically all of these Intel Macs (especially those with integrated graphics) that are about to go EoL for macOS are going to be really good Linux machines. And you’ll be able to pick them up cheap after Tahoe stops getting security updates.

the end goal of this obsession with productivity is to enable anyone (with a paid subscription) to ""create"" games at the press of a button

I think pro GenAI ppl would genuinely consider this a good thing

I see it removing humanity and meaning from creative work

Kinda wild considering California pays more into the fed than it gets back. They had all the cards and Newscum laid his hand face up on the table.

He only cared about LGBT rights enough for political capital and then threw them under the bus, between this and the defunding
KCRA: California has officially started using "biological girl" and "biological boy" to refer to cis and trans girls,in order to create a separate competition just for cis girls.

They're scared of Trump, even though Maine legally beat his threats easily.

Party of small (federal) government until it goes against their motives.
So much for small government and states’ rights. The hypocrisy is dangerously absurd. Trump is now suing Colorado and Denver, accusing them of obstructing federal immigration actions the latest salvo in his push to force local governments to carry out deportations.

If an old god that threatened to destroy the Azeroth as we knew it can be an ally and understand empathy, so can you.
The sad truth is attacking trans women does not help cis women.

It leads to eroding rights for women as a whole.
