Today would not have been possible without the survivors and advocates, I am incredibly thankful to have been able to meet @ferrellzabala.bsky.social and hear her speak with conviction and passion. I am thankful to be on the board of the RI Coalition Against Gun Violence where we lift people up.

Proud to be on the board of @ricagv today, @melissacarden did an incredible job organizing vols, speaking passionately & talked about the importance of gun safety and passing this bill! There’s no time like now than to get these weapons that were designed for war off the streets.

Lumina was absolutely beautiful, it’s fun seeing downtown so lit up and filled with vibrancy. @norabarre.bsky.social and her team did a great job, check it out!

When you turn 8 on Thanksgiving and your favorite show is, “is it cake?” You get a turkey cake! This kid is living his best life and he was happy to inform me the next time his birthday is on Thanksgiving is in 6 years and he will 14. Eek!

This made me laugh tonight.
