All the Epstein stuff has also made me think about how badly women and girls are treated. We already knew about Trump’s proclivity for sexual violence—I’m not sure why people think that seeing even more proof will change anything, when he still has supporters (some of whom are women).

Yep. It’s awful what happened to her, but if she hasn’t been young and white no one would have even cared.

Agreed—I knew that would catch their attention for terrible reasons. FOX News ran that story night and day and there are attack ads playing constantly with footage of it.

I live in Greensboro and was so confused when I read that Trump targeted Charlotte for his next display of military “power.”

My friend was stationed there with her husband in 2009.
I visited a few years later and even though parts were gorgeous, it was clear that other parts were struggling, so when conservatives started gushing, I was so confused until my friend’s

Ah, yes, the fake date thing. I had that happen to me and then they “forgot” something and insisted we go back to his apartment alone to find it. Harassment is so normalized that I barely perceived it until much later. Cis men have little to no idea what it’s like. 😐

I’m so sorry that happened to you. My first male manager did the same and would casually try to touch my arms, etc. It was a movie store and he asked me to go ask the male customers if they liked watching “adult movies.” My only recourse was to quit. 😐

I don’t know a single woman who wasn’t sexually harassed at work.
Every time I was harassed, nothing was done, ever. How can work spaces be “feminine” if women aren’t even safe at their jobs?? How do people print this stuff?
