I get that some people have outsized influence over American politics, but suggesting all Dems and maga "serve the same masters" sounds more like QAnon for Comrades© than a coherent understanding of the varieties of power, influence, and individuals' agencies.

As it happens, she lost so this is all irrelevant anyway. Hasan is wasting his time making an ahistorical, pointless speculation about whether she'd've been better or worse for trans people because she did in fact not become president. We'll never actually know, so who cares?

While Kamala Harris would not be the shinning ally trans people need, it is intellectually dishonest to say Harris would be the same as Trump, who has been trying to eliminate trans federal employees, end all GAC, incarcerate GAC doctors, demonize trans people as treasonous, etc.
