A poem from my teen. At 3, she said that they weren't solely a girl. I didn't overreact or ignore. I loved, I listened, didn't impose anything and educated myself. At 11, after reaching out to LGBTQ help lines, she came out as fluid in her gender identity and sexuality. My brave child, I love you.🫶

This goof

Joy loves to jump on my shoulders. From the ground, in one hop, she's on my shoulders and hangs out there or uses me as a step ladder. I thought it was cute until she attempted it as I walked out of the shower this morning. Claws on my bare skin. 😳😫 It's a good thing she's cute.

Life lately. Just sloshing my way through it.

I'm not sure what it is about movie theaters that I find so comforting. I get off work early on Fridays and I usually go see a movie before my kids get home from school. Today's movie is Companion.
